Alabama Lesson plans, web resources, content standards and courses of study are integrated for Alabama teachers in Alex; Alabama Learning Exchange.
Arkansas The Arkansas Department of Education provides curriculum, frameworks and assessment resources on the Curriculum section of their website.
Delaware The Delaware Department of Education provides Professional & Curriculum Standards on their website.
Florida Through a grant with the University of South Florida the Florida Department of Education provides teachers with resources at the Educational Technology Clearinghouse (ETC). This site is continually updated, and it includes curriculum materials and lesson plans that integrate technology and instruction.
Georgia Billed as a one-stop shop for educators, GeorgiaStandards.org is a comprehensive resource and information on state standards and curriculum provided by the Georgia Department of Education
Kentucky Links to online lessons, teacher "strategies that work," suggestions for inquiry-based learning, technology standards, and more are provided in Teacher Resources.
Louisiana Making Connections provides teachers with standards-based instructional materials that enhance teaching, learning, and technology opportunities in Louisiana's K-12 schools. PASS, Practice Assessment/Strengthen Skills is a Web-based practice test for Louisiana students on the LEAP 21 and GEE 21 and it provides instruction to help students strengthen skills.
Maryland The Maryland State Department of Education has instructional resources on its School Improvement in Maryland Web site. Maryland Virtual Opportunities Program, Maryland's online learning initiative, has a wealth of materials. The MDK12Digital Library grant provides online resources to all students in Maryland. The partnership is trying to create a consortium for all 24 local school systems to jointly purchase digital content. Technology Literacy by 8th Grade (TL8) also is a partnership of all 24 local school systems. As a response to the NCLB requirement of technology literacy for all students by 8th grade, this consortium is developing a State definition, standards, a possible assessment and accompanying materials to meet the mandate.
Mississippi Marco Polo Discovers Mississippi is a site that provides lesson plans and web resources. Mississippi Curriculum Frameworks, a guide to curriculum in Mississippi, also provides resources,
North Carolina The North Carolina Standard Course of Study provides a set of competencies for every content area and each grade and high school course.
Oklahoma Marco Polo Discovers Passport to Student Success provides standards-based internet content for K-12 teachers, including a searchable database of Oklahoma's Priority Academic Student Skills, lesson plan templates, state progress information, professional development opportunities, and wrap-around resources that augment Marco Polo lesson plans.
South Carolina South Carolina Teaching Learning Connecting SCTLC links to lesson plans, assessment items, reference works and online curriculum resources aligned with South Carolina standards and Marco Polo.
Tennessee A Blueprint for Learning, a companion document for the Tennessee Curriculum Standards, provides Tennessee's curriculum standards to teachers in a very accessible format.
Texas The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), The Mathematics TEKS Toolkit, and TEA Teachers' Toolbag are three Web sites where teachers can find curriculum standards and standards-based curriculum and other educational resources such as lesson plans.
Virginia The Virginia Department of Education's Instructional Services website provides resources such as Virginia's Standards of Learning, Curriculum Framework, Enhanced Scope and Sequence, Test Blueprints, Released Tests, Project Graduation, ePAT, and Online Tutorial. Virginia Studies—Ready Resources for the Classroom assists teachers in implementing the Virginia Studies History and Social Science Standards of Learning.
West Virginia The West Virginia Department of Education provides links to resources for lesson plans on their website under WVDE Lesson Plans.
