This organization provides information and support to students with
disabilities. AccessIT is located at the University of Washington and
their projects are funded by the National Institute on Disability and
Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) of the U.S. Department of Education.

and Information Technology Accessibility Standards |
These standards are part of section 508 of the
Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1998. These standards require that
Federal agencies make all electronic and information technology
accessible to persons with disabilities, "unless an undue burden
would be imposed on the agency."
